The Greatest Fear

Everything comes fear

When we are happy we then soon shed a tear

The greater fear of all

Is losing the greatest love I’ve ever saw

One minute it’s perfect; one minute it’s not

One minute it changes with just one thought

We can be singing love songs

Then act like somethings wrong

When we fight; we fight hard

When we love; we love harder

We laugh, we cry, we cry out of love

I get angry and I push you out with a shove

His voice will always be the best thing I ever hear

Would it be true love if I didn’t have this fear?

This poem was written when me and my boyfriend were long distance. If any of you have ever had a long distance relationship you know it’s HARD. We of course fight, we had a 7 hour time difference, and I have many insecurities that I had to overcome. I wrote this poem for him after we had a fight, but I realize I am easy to fight because I am scared of losing him, not being I am angry with him. I love you E.C.
